Questions people ask
Does the pitch change?
Not with “Keep pitch” on, which uses a time-stretching algorithm that keeps voices and instruments at their original pitch. Turn it off for the tape effect.
How far can I slow it down?
To a quarter of the original speed. Below about 0.5× a slight wobble becomes audible on music, which is normal for time stretching.
Is this the same as changing tempo?
Yes. Speed with pitch preserved is what musicians call a tempo change.
