Does merging lose quality?
Not when the clips share the same codec and resolution, which is the case for clips from the same phone or camera. They are copied byte for byte. Clips with different settings are re-encoded once at a bitrate matched to the best of them.
Can I merge videos with different resolutions or orientations?
Yes. Pick whether the result uses the first, largest or smallest clip’s size. Clips that do not fit are letterboxed so nothing is cropped.
How many videos can I merge?
As many as your device’s memory allows. The finished file is assembled in memory, so a laptop handles dozens of clips or a couple of gigabytes without trouble.
Can I add a transition between clips?
