What video specs does Instagram want?
MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, 1080 pixels wide, 30 fps, 9:16 for Reels and Stories, 1:1 or 4:5 for feed posts. Reels can be up to three minutes long.
Why does my Reel look blurry after upload?
Instagram compresses again on its servers and also on slow connections. Upload over Wi-Fi from a clean 1080p source and turn on “Upload at highest quality” in Instagram’s settings.
Should I upload 4K?
No. Instagram downsizes to 1080p anyway and the extra data only slows the upload. A sharp 1080p file gives the same or better result.
